The group stayed at Dickleburgh Scout Hut for the weekend from the 12th – 14th May.

Arriving Friday evening the Scouts put up their tents in the main hall. They had hot dogs and tomato soup for supper.

Saturday morning we played games on the field – the Scouts loved playing with the parachute. We then drove to Weybread Lakes (using our own minibus and Dickleburghs) for some sailing and canoeing. The Scouts loved being on the water, with some preferring to be in the water and their boat upside down.

Saturday evening we walked to the local park, the Scouts (and Leaders) had great fun on the play equipment, I think some of the leaders enjoyed it more than the young people!!!
Sunday morning the group travelled to Bressingham Steam Museum. There was a 1940s themed day. The Scouts thoroughly enjoyed riding on the steam trains and the merry-go-round.

We returned to Dickleburgh Scout hut in the afternoon for our AGM.
